Sony LAM-Z1 / LAM-1

The only difference between the LAM-Z1 and the LAM-1 is that the Z1 comes bundled with speakers while the 1 does not.

Sony's first netMD bookshelf system. It was launched alongside the MZ-N1, CMT-C7NT, and MDS-NT1 as the first generation of netMD devices.

Can write discs through netMD using Sony's SonicStage or OpenMG software. Device playback can also be controlled using these programs. Can also record to MD from CD at 4x speed.

Recently, support has been added for all LAM Series decks to web minidisc. This specific device is untested, but likely to work without issue. You can also usePlatinum-MD v 1.2.0 or later to write discs (though it is quite buggy).

The RMT-CL1 remote for this model takes CR2025 batteries.
